he Mount Lebanon campus Christmas celebrations this year as usual reflected the meaning and spirit of the holiday with its 3rd annual Christmas dinner and school kids party “Christmas Angels at LIU”, and food box distribution to the community poor and unfortunates.

The school of Education sponsored and organized a fund raising drive titled “bring a smile on a child’s face” and invited 51 school kids, boys and girls aged between 5 and 8 from 2 community schools (Al-Tarakki and Saint Agnes) to a Christmas kids party. It was well organized bringing lots of joy and happiness to the kids. Santa distributed gifts and Christmas candy to all kids after enjoying two hours of fun play, animation and happy meal lunch. Fifteen boxes containing a wide variety of basic food items were distributed to poor families in the area.
