LIU, represented by its president H.E. Abdel Rahim Mourad and Grupo COIMBRA - Brasil - representing over 20 top ranking Brazilian universities and represented by Dr. Rossana Valéria de Souza e Silva signed an extensive Memorandum of Understanding laying the grounds for faculty and students exchanges as well as research cooperation between LIU and the universities represented by COIMBRA. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Samir Funchal Oliveira, Vice Consul and Mr. Thiago Antonio de Melo Oliveira, Third Secretary of The Brazilian Embassy; and by Provost Dr. Ali Tarabay, Vice President Dr. Samir Abou Nassif, and Dean Dr. Farid Abdallah.
